I am considering holding a DA pistol training day here in Prescott in September. We will work on DA-SA skills and run through a bunch of developmental drills designed for DA weapons.

You MUST bring a DA weapon...no striker fired guns that day.

Open to WT members...one day only...with a BBQ social at HQ afterwards.

Cost maybe $100.
DA semi autos any caliber.

If I can make it out there I will (I should be in Arizona part of September, so will depend on dates), I've recently become a huge fan of the DA/SA system and have a P01 that I am a huge fan of. But have yet to get it set up for an RMR.

I will be honest...I do not want any novices in this session. I will not have the time to teach you basic shooting skills. If you show up and are a Bobby Butterfingers out of your Fobus rig, I will politely send you home. Sorry, I am not going to sacrifice the tempo of the class for an unprepared student. Guys like that are not bad people, but this is not the day for them. They would be better off seeing Nichols or Cardoza in the Phoenix area.

My intent is to get skilled WT guys who want a fast-paced day of working with DA/SA weapons...even if they do not run, or have never run a DA/SA pistol. Kinda like what we saw in the shotgun class this last spring.

Maybe ten guys tops...0800 to 1700 followed by a social at either HQ or Suarez Manor.

I’m interested, but it’ll depend on the day you chose. I’ll be flying back to Michigan for two weeks in September.

Hopefully the stars align, I have a particular da/sa I’d like to run. It’d also be good to train with some like minded folks for the day.
