Sometimes it helps air out one's thoughts and status to his friends. There are friends who help you move and then there are friends who help you move bodies. Besides prayer (He really listens and He responds, instructs, admonishes, and lets us know His love for us through the Holy Spirit), having good friends who really listen and advise are to be treasured.

All of us have gone through hard times, some harder than others. Where I am going with this is that I am still recovering from my wife's death from cancer a little over 4 months ago after her fighting it for a year. I saw what John Chambers, his wife and family went through. I know Gabe and others still watch over John's wife as it should. The best I could do was offer prayer for them and send money.

Then it was our turn. I have learned a lot more about myself as well as seeing how my two sons and daughter and their families respond to Lesa's death. She died next to me in our bed at home. In the morning my sons and I gently moved her body to the gurney to be taken away. Lesa was buried in our town cemetery with military honors. She was Army like me. My life changed. This was a milestone that I really did not want to reach but it did happen and I am now well past that on my journey.

Things have improved for me. I am working on a business in the Trades and have other ideas. I have got the bug from Gabe. What a great role model to use as a guide to success!

Today I get to spend time with my daughter trying out a number compact pistols. She is a Deputy DA and very good at putting bad people away. I will be training her on a regular basis until I am satisfied. DA's and their Deputies do attract bullets from time to time. I want her very dangerous. My boys already are.

So my life is improving!

So if anyone here on WT is going through tough times let us know. We will listen, give suggestions if asked, offer prayer, and if bodies need moving well you can fill in the rest.

I love being part of WT and being associated with real friends here!

I'm glad you are making progress in your recovery from a terrible tragedy. I work with my wife and spend almost 100% of my time with her, I don't know how I could or would survive is she was taken away. I love that you are helping your daughter dangerous outside the courtroom!

I can't say I know what your going through but keep driving on and trust God. June 27th was my wife's one year anniversary for thyroid cancer surgery. That and her developing Sjogrens disease and job changes was our battle last year. Glad you are focusing on a goal, it definitely helps. Good luck in your path.
