Those of you that have never had the chance to come here, you should check it out.

I looked at Idaho for a landing site after escaping Cali. I don't like cold and snow much so we checked it off the list.

Living at the top of Utah this is a common sight to enjoy. Love it. Idaho rocks!

For sure, we came through salt lake this time, usually go off the 395 side then cut through Oregon. I had no idea salt lake was so big, we actually stayed in cedar city for the night.

I know what your saying, it’s hard to beat Prescott. Only way I would stay here is if I got a custody job, Construction is seasonal at best. The wages for corrections is already 3.00 higher here then Georgia, but still bro I already seen a local truck driving job that pays 4.00 more then that. :)

I've spent a lot of time in McCall and always enjoyed it. It's a fun little town to visit.
It's damn cold in the winter, but the snow at Brundage is pretty decent for skiing.
And that lake is damn cold even in the summer. Never did enjoy water skiing there very much.

I'm heading to Prescott, from the Midwest, this June for Gabe's Red dot class then to visit the Grand Canyon . I'm going to put my feelers out for work while we're there.
Mainly because of all the good I've heard about Prescott here, and the fact the wife and I are ready for a change.

What I like about it is how much back country there is and how open it all is. I think you could go on a different hike everyday for the rest of your life. Last time we came up it was late spring, I put 3000 miles on the Jeep in about 4 weeks just checking it all out. I don’t know if I could live here, maybe it just would be dependent on income really.

When you are there, make sure you go through Sedona and flagstaff. It’s worth the drive to check it all out.

The truth about Prescott is that unless you bring your income with you, you will not make the money you'd make in a big city like Phoenix. On the other side of the coin...life seems to cost less here as well. Its an acquired taste...living north of the wall.

My wife and I are torn between back to VA/WV area, or heading up to Montana/Idaho region.
Right now, I think it will be the southern part of WV, as taxes are low and property isn't expensive.... but the Northern Rockies still call to me

That just means that mostly the riff raff is kept out. Not a bad thing.

My pending divorce has me heavily considering heading back NW. I travel for work anyway. Home might as well be somewhere I enjoy being.
I miss the mountains and public property constantly. And sorry, H60, but the Appalachians just don’t cut it.

If something came up I would definitely consider it, I’m kinda tired of Georgia.... I like it better out west....
