Going to Merrimack, NH later this year. Bad news is we've gotta go thru the communist states to get there. We'll deal with that, but what can you tell me about the area? Must sees, good eats, etc.? My CHL is good in NH. Any pecularities in the laws there?

You dont need a permit to carry in NH anymore. I think there is a law agaist loaded rifles in a vehicle though (was told that when i took a class at the Sig academy a number of years ago... anti poaching thing). Otherwise, NH is pretty gun friendly.

Yes it is. I lived there for a few years while I was in college. I was able to get my first concealed carry permit as an 18 year old resident. Of course I was too young to buy a pistol but my mom bought me one. We had campus carry before it was an idea!

Other than the loaded rifle thing, pretty much only restriction is no nuclear weapons...
Go the Bud brewery if you like horses...pretty good tour around the place...Nashua/Manchester area is loaded with good restaurants...

Thanks, guys. Wasn't concerned about the guns, except when passing thru communist country. Will hit the brewery and some locally owned eateries. Have really enjoyed stumbling onto some cafes in previous excursions.
