I am looking for suggestions for a 40 S&W suppressor for my Glock PDW. I want to avoid going to a 45 caliber can, if possible, because I own nothing in that caliber.

Thanks

Silencerco Hybrid or Omega45K.

Hybrid is nice, but heavy. Omega45K is cool. FYI, Silencerco makes the Osprey in .40. I have one in 9mm and it's pretty awesome. Also, I know you're not a .45 fan, but you might look at the Dead Air Ghost M and Rugged Obsidian; they are both .45 and can be used with anything smaller (in pistol pressures, including 300 BO), but more important, are modular, meaning they can be made shorter, making them lighter and easier to maneuver with than the Hybrid.

Frankly, I've abandoned .40 pretty much in favor of 9mm and some .45. The only reason I'm keeping my G23 and G27 (and about 1,500 round of ammo) is that during the great ammo shortage a few years ago you could still find .40 when 9mm wasn't available. Having said all that, I have no intention of suppressing my .40 guns. The variety (and cost) of ammo in 9mm is the primary attraction. I *may* suppressor .45 later on, but that's not a priority; .22, .9mm, 300 BO, 7.62 NATO and 5.56 are.

But that's just me. Good luck and let us know what you come up with. First hand info is always a good thing.

I have both Hybrid and Obsidian. The hybrid can do more than the obsidian can caliber wisex, either would be a good choice.

Thanks for all the suggestions, we will see how long it takes for the ATF approval for another can. I am going on 1 year for the suppressor for my daughters 10/22.
