Is made, for the moment, in TN. Hopefully, you're getting ready to show something new and unusual?

I has a sad, I was thinking there was a new SI axe/hatchet/tomahawk in the works? You're still talking shotguns! Where, oh where, is the SI Safe Space?

I've been salivating over that shotgun since I saw the movie in theaters.

I know this may be blasphemy on this forum because it's not an 870, but my battle ax is a Mossberg 590A1. I have run these extensively in the Marine Corps and found them to be quite satisfactory. This beauty is adorned with XS Sights (factory), an EOTech Integrated Forend Light, a Magpul Stock, an 8 shot tube (factory), a bayonet lug (factory), a GG&G Front Sling Attachment, and a Vickers Sling.

No...not blasphemy at all. But it is a fact that Mossbergs are very rough compared to Remingtons and they do not "clean up" as well. They are not in the same league.

The shotgun was nice, also. 870, I believe.

I've got my 590A1 as well, and find it to be most satisfactory. I don't feel bad if I beat someone with it, were I would if it were pretty..

Greg, I think I can find the contact info for the ladies that make them. They use a real human skull as a mold, if that makes it past the Conan the Accountant inspection....

Heres the one attributed to Lord Byron and his famous poem

Start not - nor deem my spirit fled;
In me behold the only skull
From which, unlike a living head,
Whatever flows is never dull.

I lived, I loved, I quaffed, like thee:
I died: let earth my bones resign;
Fill up - thou canst not injure me;
The worm hath fouler lips than thine.

Better to hold the sparkling grape,
Than nurse the earth-worm's slimy brood;
And circle in the goblet's shape
The drink of gods, than reptile's food.

Where once my wit, perchance, hath shone,
In aid of others' let me shine;
And when, alas! our brains are gone,
What nobler substitute than wine?

Quaff while thou canst: another race,
When thou and thine, like me, are sped,
May rescue thee from earth's embrace,
And rhyme and revel with the dead.

Why not? since through life's little day
Our heads such sad effects produce;
Redeemed from worms and wasting clay,
This chance is theirs, to be of use.
