This is indicative of what I think is wrong with the "gun community". Too much fear motivation. In essence...men are afraid of being men because they might get in trouble.

The comments are listed by name and come after my posting of the article on the facebook page.

Adam Carver Yeah. can't wait till someone points that out about me in court. "Mr. carver, here we see you stating on facebook, that you strive to be a gentleman killer..."

Suarez International (https://www.facebook.com/TheSuarezGroup/?ref=tn_tnmn&rc=p) Oh no...not you...but me? Yes...I strive and have always striven to always be a gentleman and occasionally, as needed, a good killer. Those motivated by fear, please leave now. It will undoubtedly get worse for you..

Adam Carver You know man, more and more, I see you dishing out this mindset of promoting intentionally killing people. It concerns me. We only have the legal right to use lethal force to stop a threat. Are you ever concerned that a mindset of trying to kill someone could push someone to use force beyond what is needed and end up putting you in the hot spot legally? Also, I see a mindset like this possibly causing a person to say things in a manor which could be used against you. to me vocabulary is important. What you "say" can be used against you.

Adam Said: You know man, more and more, I see you dishing out this mindset of promoting intentionally killing people. It concerns me.

Gabe Said: Not "people" Adam...active shooters, terrorists, bad guys in the act of doing bad things. THOSE guys. If that concerns you I think you might need some help, since that is why we have guns for is it not?

Adam Said: We only have the legal right to use lethal force to stop a threat.

Gabe Said: And is anything I have written, taught, or suggested contrary to this? No...not at all. The only thing is that I am not squeemish about it.

Adam Said: Are you ever concerned that a mindset of trying to kill someone could push someone to use force beyond what is needed and end up putting you in the hot spot legally?

Gabe Said: No.

Gabe Said: The ability to speak with eloquence is as important as the ability to shoot with accuracy. If you say something stupid, that is your issue Adam, not mine. But nothing I say, have said, or teach, is illegal. The only difference is that killing a terrorist in the act of committing terror is not done out of fear...it is done with a smile.

"We only have the legal right to use lethal force to stop a threat."

Adam, should I be concerned that you did not specifically say that this right to use 'lethal force' is not permitted against just any old threat? Are you encouraging me to use 'lethal force' against any threat?

"...causing a person to say things in a manor which could be used against you..."

Hey, Adam: if I say it in, say, an apartment, would I not be liable, then?

It's hard to feign intellect when one misuses the English language whilst pontificating about things of which they clearly know little...if any...

But methinks "yer teachers learned ya 'bout best as dey cood....bein' az what dey had ta werk with, ya know..."

Cover blown, hack. Go pontificate elsewhere, Eve...

Another reason why I don't Facebook or go to other forums. Too many pussies out there that think they know it all. I have found that 98% of the time, these guys are the ones who can't shoot can't fight and look like they can be contestants for the biggest loser.

Whatever. They can all piss off. I on the other hand with train and prepare myself and my people to be ready to tear someone's throat out, smash his face in with a kevlar, or dump a mag into two perps.

Well sure but from a business POV, the more people that see my stuff the better for me and WT is not where I get new customers.

I agree 100% Gabe. My wife uses Facebook for her business, and it is indeed a valuable resource. One just has to put up with, ignore, or try to make them understand, types of people on those sites. But their money is just as green as anyone else's!

Who is this person? Does he matter? If NOT can we just get back to the preparing to kill....

“Never shy away from opportunity and wholehearted living. Never be fearful of putting yourself out there. The courageous may encounter many disappointments, experience profound disillusionment, gather many wounds; but cherish your scars for they are the proud emblems of a truly phenomenal life. The fearful, cautious, cynical and self-repressed do not live at all. And that is simply no way to be in this world.”

You have to be bold and tell it like it "really" is. There is no tip toeing around killing another man, and the sheer thought of killing brings shivers to the lesser men.

Perhaps teaser ads in GQ and Esquire are in order? Target the martial-oriented gentlemen rather than the gentleman-oriented gun guys?

The late Peter Ustinov, an actor and certainly not a man of action, once told an interviewer that he thought the worst thing in life would be to be on one's deathbed and regretting all the things never done because of fear. I would guess that Adam Carver is going to confront the reality of being on his deathbed regretting many, many things.

"There are horrible people who, instead of solving a problem, tangle it up and make it harder to solve for anyone who wants to deal with it. Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all" Fredrich Nietzsche

I promise that I won't ask Adam or any of his other pussy friends to consider what would be the best COA in dealing with any bad guys who are doing something that needs me to address that action ballistically.

Pretty much word for word what a Criminal Justice professor, and before that long time 'copper' said in a lecture I was in. He said [police in uniform] are OBLIGATED to use force to STOP THREATS. Fortunately he went on to say the best way to do this is often quite fatal. It seems to me this 'stop the threat' stuff that 'Adam' dude talks about is some semantic thing...Perhaps police err on the side of professionalism and won't say 'blast the mother fucker." Just nod your head and grin I suppose. Train to stop threats and stop em well.
