My Madelyne (my son's girlfriend) has been a new joy in my life. I'm proud to announce she's been accepted into nursing school! Her drive has been an inspiration and the Payne family is blessed to have her in our lives.

Congratulation to her! She's a cutie, with drive and brains to boot, he better hold on to her!

Yes, congrats to her and +1 what Forklift said. Your boy's a handsome dude, too. IIRC, he's had some accomplishments, too. If not, I sure he will with you and Madelyne encouraging him!!!

He made the Dean's List last semester. Madelyne doesn't have time for slackers lol.

Great news! Nurse Anesthetist is a great way to go if she is interested. It's getting the cart before the horse but never to early to plan.

Madelyne's goal is Nurse Practitioner. She's made up her mind so that's what it will be.

Very nice couple. It will be a long haul to get there, but NPs do very well compensatuon wise and can have a life after their shift is over. Your son chose wisely. Its a good thing to have a medical person in the family.
Best of luck to both of them.

Congrats to both families. It speaks volume on the hard work and dedication on raising them into wonderful adults. Having worked with many NP's, besides a generous compensation especially on the Neonatal / Pediatric side; there's always a demand in this workforce and the family will always be provided for.
