Gabe, I like the look of your new chopsticks and intend to buy some.

Are there 'flats' in the cross sectional profile?

Are the pointy-ends 'roughed-up' for better food holding?

Thanks for making these things.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Karl in Phoenix

Mine dont have any flat spots, nor are the points rough; but I can assure you they pass the eating test. I gave a set to HeadShrinkHers daughter to take to school for lunch--she had no complaints. Ive also used them for eating.

I think it should, if you can demonstrate that you use them for eating/food manipulation purposes.....

Is that easier than bringing your own chopsticks?

:facepalm2:

It's certainly easier than actually learning how to use chop sticks!

Just landed in El Paso no problem with them in my briefcase. The nice pouch they come in helped I feel. Oh the Choirboy was there as well. I find that the one time I was questioned about the CB was with the lanyard attached. I remove it now for travel and not a peep.
