Corn fed. Shotguns will do the job if you learn you gun and your ammo and your ability with it.

We got skunked (first time in a long time). Not many moving and it was one of those weekends when you could not hit the side of the a barn if you were inside with all the doors nailed shut! Will try again next time!

Good meat!

Shotguns are the law in IL - well muzzle loaders or revolvers too now. We can regularly shoot deer to 75 yards and not much call to shoot any farther than. There is always THAT GUY claiming a 200 yard shot. Possible - with the new high zoot guns and slugs sure -- did THAT GUY actually do it? Maybe ...

I have a confirmed kill at 110 paces with a 870 with a rifled barrel and rifle sights. Sure luck has something to do with it but it is double. I know a guy who swear that their inline muzzleloader is good out to 200-250 yards. With the new guns, there is no reason why rifles are not legal to use; just idiots in chitcago being idiots.

I run a FFP mildot on my inline and have taken it out to 200 on paper easily...should be capable of a decent bit more if the wind behaves and you know your trajectory.

That being said, even a 7.62x39 has a vastly superior trajectory lol

The new stuff is capable of it, if the shooter is up to it and you do your math ahead of time.

Regarding if Bubba is up to it, that is another matter entirely hahah

I can believe that, 110 paces unless you're sasquatch ,is on the order of 95 - 100 yards

As for rifles - maybe one day - course we allow the state to dictate the color of the clothes we wear while hunting on private property
