What I liked about this meme, was that it not only mentions the critics but those that would appear to be a friend, but are really an enabler. Enabling and encouraging mediocrity. The ones calling you an "over achiever" in a joking tone asking "why do so much? it doesn't make a difference." If nothing else, proving to be excellent in every aspect of your life just eats them up inside. Gotta love it!!!! :cool:

And it is funny how the masses almost "self select" away from those that are excellent. Anyone else experience that?

Once I chose to pursue excellence, I also found myself gravitating to individuals that displayed excellence (job, fitness, martial skills, etc) and that challenged me. I found myself loving the challenge of things versus shying away from the challenge.

What's the saying?..."Excellence breeds excellence, mediocrity seeks company"; something like that.
