Hello WT,
I recently purchased a P226, Nitron finish, 40S&W, and Sig night sights and I want to buy some additional magazines. I would like a total of 6, so maybe 4 more.

Does anyone know of a good (inexpensive) place to buy factory Sig 10rnd mags???

Any leads would be appreciated,
Thanks

You might check with Mec-Gar. They manufacture many of the factory mags for Sig. Sorry, I don't know the website, but I'm sure a google search will give it to you. They are the only ones I trust other than factory mags.

I had heard that before, but from an unreliable source and wasn't sure if it was true.

So basically then the Mec-Gar mags are factory mags, and they will be reliable enough for personal/home defense use; good to know.

However on their website, http://www.mec-gar.com/sig.html they only show P226 9mm 10rnd mags, they don't show 40S&W 10rnd mags...

Do they make them, just don't list them?

If they do I have another question, does anyone know of a good (inexpensive) place to buy Mec-Gar P226 40cal 10rnd mags???

You know, I did a little searching, and it doesn't look like they make them for the .40. I used to use them all the time when I had a 9mm P226, but I can't find any. Looks like you may have to go with the factory mags.

Thanks Mark,
CDNN is the cheapest I've found so far, $29.99
