So what are your plans for the holiday? We are hanging around the house recuperating from a week of Vacation Bible School! Going to grill pork steaks, squash, potatoes, and corn on the cob!

And for all you who have to work, Thanks for doing what you do. Been there Done that and lucky to no longer have to. Stay safe!

Tonight have a good cigar, cold beer, and smoking a pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, and then enjoying all. On Independence Day, heading to the range to celebrate 2A, going to my son's house for a great dinner, and then picking up my bride from the airport. She's been in Guatemala on a mission trip for about a week. Happy Independence Day to the Tribe.

Range in the am to run the shotgun. I'll be pool side changing my pasty white legs to a nice bronze while grilling meat, lots and lots of meat by 1400.

I hope to hit the range too, if the rain holds off! My daughter is taking her concealed carry class Sunday so I need to get her to dust off the cobwebs and make sure she is good to go! Mainly make sure she can field trip the pistol for cleaning- yelp that is a requirement for the class.

Hit the range today instead of tomorrow. Both the XO and I hitting out to 200 yards with our AR's. The farthest our range club goes out to is 300 but that was closed due to the recent weather. Finished off at the shotgun range with a Vepr 12 and mossberg 500 in 20ga. Tomorrow will be meet with some gun cleaning, gun projects, coffee rub brisket and pull pork, then a workout in the late afternoon, BBQ dinner, and ending the day with with some fine spirits and toasting. All this with those I hold dearest in life, my family.

Flag comes up no matter where we're at. Taking a day off in paradise with the family, after 10 days of intensive training in Hungary.

My father passed to the next place this morning at around 0230. He was at home and comfortable.
He fought it until the very end.
He is now whole, and with mom once again.
While i mourn his passing, i celebrate his transition to perfection.
