Since we don't have the Female Warriors forum anymore, I'm posting this here instead. Here's at least one old lady who's not content to grow old by merely sitting around at a nursing home confined to a wheelchair or a walker.

My flight instructor flew into her 90's and is likely still in the record books for most flight hours, FFA test give ect! (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evelyn_Bryan_Johnson). We started to get suspicious though when she was 79 three years in a row! :)

Very cool. This lady has the mind of a 40 year old! She knows that age is only a number not a state of mind or body.

We live close to the Morristown airport(planes circle right over the house on take-offs/landings) and my wife knew Evelyn Johnson - took flight lessons from her long ago.

I was there for a while mid 90's. Flew when I had $$ ect. Airport office ladies use to swipe my dog out of the back of my truck and take him inside to spoil him while I was out flying. :)
