Awesome Date night.

Just got home from a day out with my wife. We started the afternoon at the public shooting range with my old partner and his wife. Both ladies are VERY new shooters with almost no firearm experience. In fact my wife has never held a handgun before today. By the end of the afternoon my wife was eagerly devouring everything from .22LR to .357 and did particularly well with a G27 and G26. Finished off with a steak dinner and ice cold Sam Adams. She's now browsing Glock pictures online and researching carry methods.

To me this definitely qualifies as warrior BON VIVANT!

Sounds likea nice day...I spent mine helping her get ready for my daughter coming for a weeks vusit...doing all the honey do'd...then out to dinner fir a good bowl of Pho on a cold rainy winters night. Then home to the dogs, 3 dachshunds and a chick flick on Amazon...really nice evening with the redhead...

Man, I could only wish my wife would go shooting with me..... She might go with JD, someday.... And a date night, ha. We had our 15year anniversary a couple days ago, and with three kids and everyone working full time, well you know how that goes... The old saying. No Rest For The Wicked!

I keep scheduling range time, then something else comes up. Kinda sad, as much as I'm into defense, we can't seem to get together on that at all.

In fact, I have never seen her shoot a pistol..... She has one, a little P290rs 380. I have shot it, she has dry fired it.

Oh well, we will keep working hard, and maybe soon I can take her out to the range, dinner and a movie!

Try this...order pizza for the kids, buy movie tickets online and have an early reservation for dinner...promise her you'll have her home by 10...put some flowers on her seat in the car...

Set a date night...its usually Tuesday for us...sometimes its date in...take out and a movie, sometimes its just a drive and an afternoon/evening walk on the beach with the 3 dachshunds...
