I believe that you can use the … in a first person narrative but in dialog the standard is to use a— called an” em dash”.
Example...
“Here’s good, stop the truck.”
There was no need to pull over. Scotty did not ask why but obeyed bringing the truck to a halt in the passing lane.
Nick took the keys out of the ignition, stepped out of the truck, and walked a few paces up the road.
Scotty got out following him. He approached to conversational speaking distance behind Nick.
“Nick, I—”
Nick turned, stepped in and hit him full force with a right cross to the cheek. The blow was fierce. Scotty staggered back and fell, stunned but not out.
“Do I need to explain that?” Nick spat.
“No,” Scotty replied sitting on the ground, spitting blood.
“I’m going to!” Nick barked, standing over him, fists clenched.

I've only watched it maybe 4 times all the way through lol. I might have to watch it again... lol. Maybe Jericho again as well... One of the best things about watching stuff over and over is it really makes it easy to work out during it because I don't have to pay total attention to it lol.

Capt. Vasili Borodin (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000554/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And drive from state to state. Do they let you do that?
Captain Ramius (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000125/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): I suppose.

And if I know you can't afford to kill me, how are you going to scare me into giving it to you? Kasper Gutman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002113/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): Well, sir, there are other means of persuasion besides killing and threatening to kill.
Sam Spade (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000007/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): Yes, that's... That's true. But, there're none of them any good unless the threat of death is behind them. You see what I mean? If you start something, I'll make it a matter of your having to kill me or call it off.
Kasper Gutman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002113/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): That's an attitude, sir, that calls for the most delicate judgment on both sides. Because, as you know, sir, in the heat of action men are likely to forget where their best interests lie and let their emotions carry them away.
Sam Spade (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000007/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): Then the trick from my angle is to make my play strong enough to tie you up, but not make you mad enough to bump me off against your better judgment.

Well, I'm a regular visitor here, but Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers were coming here as early as the late 1600s to trade with the Native Americans.
In fact, isn't "Milwaukee" an Indian name?
Yes, Pete, it is. Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."
I was not aware of that.

I realized today that I've mentally been using "Bon Vivant" as a verb.
"Well, looks like the alternator's shot. I could save about a hundred bucks if I replace it myself, but that'll kill my Saturday. I'm just gonna Bon Vivant it and pay the experts to do it."

[Bobby wants plain toast, which isn't on the menu]
Bobby: I'd like an omelet, plain, and a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast, no mayonnaise, no butter, no lettuce. And a cup of coffee.
Waitress: A #2, chicken salad sand. Hold the butter, the lettuce, the mayonnaise, and a cup of coffee. Anything else?
Bobby: Yeah, now all you have to do is hold the chicken, bring me the toast, give me a check for the chicken salad sandwich, and you haven't broken any rules.
Waitress: You want me to hold the chicken, huh?
Bobby: I want you to hold it between your knees.

Every good story starts.......
No sh@ there i was, half way through a sixteen month tour in afghanistan, while one night on the side of a mountain i was pulling guard and while scanning through our teams F.L.I.R. i observed an afghanistan local with his goat. Nothing new until he walked to the rear of the goat and began to pat its rear. At the time i thought nothing of it. UNTIL he all of the sudden lifted his man dress and just went to town :hypnotized:so what does a bored sargeant do he grabs his camera and takes a short video. He was around 300M away so there was no exposure needless to say the entire battalion ended up with the video not just the company. LOL and no SH@ true story.

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

He hid it in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he wore this watch up his ass. Then, when he died of dysentery, he gave me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the watch to you.
