I'm adding this post to Warrior Bon Vivant because being a Dad is one of the finer things in life. My Pop was born in 1933. This year I bought him a Nook HD so he can keep his Bible and other books on it. You should have seen the look on his face when I pulled up Pandora Radio and began playing Oldies!

Gentlemen, fatherhood is a wonderful adventure. Having recently received both Sophia (means wisdom), and Grace I have been reminded just how unbelievably precious my kids are. Happy Father's Day Tribe.

I spent the day yesterday with my youngest son and his family. It was a wonderful day with food, playing with the grandkids and shooting. My dad has been gone almost thirty years now so I can't spend the day with him. Instead, I will wish all the dad's on WT a blessed Fathers Day.

I never had a father that was worth much. Wife beating, drug abusing, losers all.

I am not whining, I take fathers day as a personal inventory, that my kids never feel what I did growing up. I have a 25yo daughter, 19yo son, & a 14yo daughter. So far so good.

My Father, My Father's Father and his were all great role models. I am truly blessed to have them as examples.
I also give thanks for the greatest father of all. Thank you God for all the blessings I've recieved, seen and unseen.

My wish is that the feelings and joy of today is carried over in each of us/you all the days of the year, not just today.

It is a privilege to be a Dad and it's up to us to make is what it should be. The question is, do we pass the test?

So have a GREAT day and speak the words and tell your kids what they mean to you. Don't make them guess.

My mother gave me my father's last Bible today, which I will cherish. He passed over a year ago and is missed. But I got to spend the day with my wife and kids. Overall good day.
