This is just my fantasy list. Its not complete, nor do I expect I'll ever complete the list (in wants or actually gets...); but it was fun passing the time:

In no particular order:

I want a armored Scout Car. Nothing big; but big enough for a couple of friends, maybe something like a V100 Commando

Id also like a Nebelwerfer. I dont have a real good reason, just that it would be cool. I suppose I could live with smoke rounds; but if youre gonna go-GO BIG so HE would be best

I always wanted a Gatling. One in 45-70 would be OK; and sure who wouldnt like a a GE Minigun; but if you really wanna make me happy Im thinking a Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon

All the flying car talk has me wanting a Gyrocopter; but not just any gyro, Lil' Nellie if you please--and no skimping on the accessories

Awhile I had an urge for something like a convertible, this would be nice. You cant say its not practical--lok theres even room for the kids

What else???

--Edelweiss,

This thread could just as easily belong in the "Warrior Bon Vivant" Forum, just sayin'. :drooling:

Anyways, my current "want" list for my return from Iraq is a bit more modest (and sorry, I'm too lazy to post pics at the moment):

1. A used Ford F150 or F250, or some kind of used SUV, for my daily driver (I sold my 2003 Saturn L200 just before my current Iraq deployment). I'm a second-generation packrat and could use the carrying capacity.

2. A classic Mustang (anywhere from '64-1/2 to '73 vintage, to replace the candy-apple red straight-6 200 '67 coupe I sold back in 2006), automatic transmission (sorry, I'm too lazy for a stick shift), and preferably (though not necessarily) red in color. Not too particular about engine size; 289 or 302 are obviously more powerful, but the straight-6 is lower maintenance.

3. A Ruger Redhawk or Super Redhawk in .44 Magnum. I love Ruger DA revolvers (the 6" GP-100 is my favorite wheelgun), and I figure one of the Redhawks will be a good complement to my Smith M29. To go standard or Super 'hawk, that is the question.....

4. A Walther PPK/S in .380 ACP. Reason #1, I don't own any .380s yet, and even though it wouldn't be my first or even second choice in a self-defense situation, I figured it'd be cool to own something in that caliber for the sake of owning one. Reason #2, I bought the .32 cal. Walther PPK as an homage to James Bond, and now that 007 has "upgraded" to the PPK/S .380 in Skyfall, I might as well keep the cultural icon theme going.....

5. A Glock 22 or 23 in .40 cal. I've stated repeatedly that I'm not a fan 0f .40 cal ("Fo'tiez be fo' drinkin', fo'ty-fives be fo' gattin'," I joked repeatedly both here and on Facebook), but seeing how there's been such a shortage of 9mm as of late, and since .40 has become a faily ubiquitous caliber in the last 23 years, I might as well get one.

6. A Glock 19. Just because.

7. M1927 Thompson semi-auto carbine. I've wanted one of these since I first fired and fell in love with one back in 1991, at the tender age of 15. Price always deterred me....but thinking like a Pirate and a Bon vivant, it's time to start saving up for one, by golly! (Yes, I know, the full-auto Thompson submachine gun would be cooler, but at this point in my life I'm not quite ready to deal with the Class III paperwork headaches from the BATFE just yet.)

8. Somwhere down the road, a CZ-52, a TT-33 Tokarev, and an Egyptian Helwan Brigadier (copy of the Beretta M1951 Brigadier)....oh yeah, and an AK and a .303 Lee Enfield, preferably w/bayonets on each....all b/c they're pieces of foreign firearms history.

Nope, especially since I believe he already has or can get everything on my list.

Yeah, my creative juices just aren't flowing at the moment. He's already got an H1 Hummer, apparently, so I'll have to think harder. He did say something about a McLaren.

Edit: the more I think about it, the more I'd like "homes" in many places. Tropical places. Mountainous places. All over, but probably none in a Chicago/NY size city.

I have added one small item to my listing.
Having Armor (wheeled) now for quite a while, and having a method of a "counter" ,my 37mm Bofors AT, I have realized that having "tracked armor" now requires a step-up in the counter dept.

Therefore,this thread kicked it off!
I have formally started my search for at least something in the 57mm AT (or larger!) range.

Need or want ? :dunno:

2. 40 acres and a home built by me in Colorado.
3. Government to leave me the hell alone.
4. More guns, more ammo, more training.

I have everything else I need.

And here I thought that my day-dreaming of owning a Star Destroyer was unrealistic. ;)
