Gents,

I'm closing in on the official launch of my business, but I really need to talk to a good business lawyer, and an accountant wouldn't hurt either. I'm kinda clueless in this area...I'd rather not just use trial and error if there's a better way, and looking online seems like a crap shoot. What's the best way to find one of each who will respresent my interests well?

Do you have any friends in business? They will usually be able to give you some ideas as to who they use.

Another option if you don't know business folks join the chamber of commerce. Most of the time i've found it a waste but initial contacts are useful. Some of bennies might be useful though.

Good means that they will use the system and the laws to YOUR benefit....not that they go to church and li8ke puppies. Best way is to go interview them. Its like you are hiring an employee.

^^^ This is exactly true. Always interview your attorney, cpa and doctor. If they won't meet with you for an initial meeting then move on.
