The latter two items in the sing title are obviuosly part and parcel of being a Warrior Bon Vivant. A far as lawyers go, as effed-up as the legal profession is, a good lawyer (there are still some left out there) can be an essential component in protecting your guns and money.

Trojan,
How right you are!!!!!! Lawyers can be your friend or worst enemy, but still a necessary component of a pirates plan to hang on to the booty he has amassed. My first brush with the need for Lawyers, Guns and Money was in the 80's in El Salvador. A very long, but lesson filled story. I put a whole bunch of stuff on the "wont do that sh-t again list". I guess that's why Im still here today.

For those few individuals within my inner circle, I am the lawyer with guns and money. There are some things that I cannot be hired to do, but that I will do for those in my tribe. If someone in my circle finds themselves in a Mexican prison (regardless of whether they deserve to be there or not), I will first use my legal skills to free them. If that fails, I'll resort to bribery. And if that fails, then I will spill a whole lot of blood and knock down a whole lot of walls.

Figuratively, of course

My dad and his associates are some of the only honest lawyers I know... growing up it was always somewhat entertaining to hear him politely, yet succinctly tell scammers and cheats to go f%$# themselves.
Good lawyers and real men. They should be on the endangered species list

I try to be honest, but I'm more interested in being effective.

Yeah, I know, but it was via Meatloaf that I first heard the song. :dunno:

Among my "friends" and "brothers", I count surgeons that will sew me up without breathing a word, in the middle of the night, for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. Also I count lawyers that on a phone call would sue Mother Theresa's soup kitchen, and lots and lots of guys with guns that will go and stand with me anywhere on earth, as long as the profits are there.

The money?

That has never been a problem, and is either on hand...waiting to be triplicated...or found on the bodies. Being Blackbeard is so much more fun that being Dudley Do-Right

The lawyers, guns, money, and a few other things, are here....all we need is a target.
