Another watch thread

So Im still in the mood for a pocket watch; but havent found the right one yet. Then I remembered Ive been looking for a 24hour watch. One where the hour hand makes only one rotation per day instead of two. My Rolex GMT has the 24 hour hand; but Id love a full 24 hour watch.

My searches of the usual spots hasnt turned up anything. Anybody have any experience with one? Any suggestions where to look?

Neat idea - and then when people ask you what time it is, just show them your watch and enjoy the befuddlement.

In the market for another Omega Planet Ocean Big Case. Do i go regular or upgrade to ceramic this time? Thats what i am dealing with. Go $4600 or $6500

For what its worth I was in love with my Marathon GSAR. Its huge-ly thick, perhaps half again as think as my Rolex GMT and half again as much weight. I cant say enough that I really like the watch (maybe better than my Rolex). Long ago I got in the habit of never taking my watch off. Last night I decided to switch to a pocket watch full time (at least for a while), and Ive noticed my left wrist feels much better. I never realized that it hurt; but without the extra weight it just feels better...

Now I just have to figure how to wear / carry the pocket watch. Its in my shirt pocket right now (Im at work). Its hard to dig it out from a pants pocket when Im wearing a pistol belt. The one Im using now is just a cheap Chinese POS that keeps great time... I just bought a antique Omega pocket watch. So I'll have to make some decisions when it arrives.
