Last night, I took this redhead on a first date to the theatre. The play was "The Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare. It was nicely done even if Petruchio was depicted as a biker clad in black leather and Katherine in a very short, bright red miniskirt and stiletto heels. Oh well...Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton it was not...but it was still fun.
And one other thing, my girl was quite excited and happy to go. She stated that "No one has ever taken me to a play."
This one might have possibilities...she said she likes to target shoot and she has a couple of rifles and her favorite is her Mosin-Nagant!!!
The Theatre, Shakespeare, a redhead, and russian rifles...yeah, not a bad evening.

I have had an opera a subscription at The Met here in NY for years. I do have to say after seeing the "Ring Cycle" a couple of years ago...German operas are the real deal.

I love live theater, both watching and performing. Sounds like you had a great time - I met most of the girls I ever dated, plus the one I married, while doing shows.

A play? Class act indeed...but with that as your first date, how are you going to top it on the second date?!!?!
Nicely done. Is that 0-5 dating on the website???

Two advantages of performing in the Theatre:
1- most of the ladies are gorgeous dancers
2- most of the guys are gay (no competition for the ladies)

You forgot that they're usually really bendy too!

Oh brother, ain't THAT the truth! I spent a good portion of my career in the theatre/dance/entertainment world and I was definitely in the minority as a heterosexual conservative male. Made for some fun times at parties. :rolleyes1:
