What's a good readable english translation of the Aenid?

I've been working the the classics on audio book during my commutes so I really am more intersted in a "readable" rather than a faithful translation to the Latin.

I listend to Paradise Lost, and while a beautiful work which I really enjoyed, the style was very difficult on audio book. Especially when traffic or something drew my attention away.

I would recommend William F. Knight's 1950s translation published by Penguin. As you requested, Knight's is a prose translation, turning the poem into an actual novel.

A different route would be the verse translation by the great John Dryden (also Penguin). Dryden set out to take the "story" of the Aeneid and turn it into a great English poem, rather than obsessing over fidelity.

I read the Fagles translation (http://www.amazon.com/The-Aeneid-Penguin-Classics-Virgil/dp/0143106295/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357442384&sr=8-1&keywords=fagles+aeneid) while I was in Naples- it seemed the appropriate book for that locale...

Fagles's version was both stirring and easy to read, and captures a great poetic rhythm.
